Inside History digital subscriptions now only on Zinio: FAQ

As of the current Summer 2017 issue, Inside History will no longer be available on the Apple Newsstand. Here are answers to some FAQs for our current iPad subscribers.

What are the changes?
Starting with our current Summer 2017 issue, Inside History will no longer be available on the Apple Newsstand. Our back issues will still be available, but going forward, future issues won’t be added to the library (including the current edition). Unfortunately rising costs have made us take this decision, and while it’s not one we take lightly, we believe our alternative digital newsstand, Zinio, is an even better option for our digital subscribers.

What does this mean for iPad subscribers?
It means that your digital subscription will be migrated to Zinio instead, so you’ll receive the remaining issues on your subscription on Zinio instead (starting from the current Summer 2017 issue).

To do this, you need to email info [@] insidehistory.com.au with details of your existing iPad/Apple Newsstand subscription, particularly how many issues you have left (ideally forwarding the original confirmation email of your subscription if possible). This will make it quicker to check our records and set you up with your new Zinio subscription, ensuring you get as many issues on Zinio as you had remaining on your Newsstand subscription.

I still have issues left on my subscription. How do I redeem them?
As above, email info [@] insidehistory.com.au with details of your existing iPad/Apple Newsstand subscription, particularly how many issues you have left (ideally forwarding the original confirmation email of your subscription if possible). This will make it quicker to check our records and set you up with your new Zinio subscription, ensuring you get as many issues on Zinio as you had remaining on your Newsstand subscription.

Can I still access my back issues?
Our back issues will still be available on iPad.

How will my replacement Zinio subscription be set up?
The first step is to email info [@] insidehistory.com.au with details of your existing iPad/Apple Newsstand subscription, particularly how many issues you have left (ideally forwarding the original confirmation email of your subscription if possible). This will make it quicker to check our records and set you up with your new Zinio subscription.

Next, we’ll check your records and set you up with your Zinio subscription. Our digital partners at Zinio will then be in touch with details of how to access your issues.

Is Zinio compatible with all devices?
Yes, one of the advantages of Zinio is that it’s compatible with any Android, Apple or Windows device — the one Zinio subscription enables you to access Inside History from not only a tablet but also your phone, desktop and other devices.
